WBT Machine & Tool has been one of the area’s leading manufacturers for 40 years, serving a broad spectrum of industries including aerospace, agriculture, automotive, construction, defense, heavy equipment, industrial automation, oil and gas, recreational equipment, rail, energy & power, paper printing, pump & hydraulic, casting foundries, medical and more.

Over the past decade, we have invested heavily in technology, equipment, and software, allowing us to expand our capabilities and provide complete turnkey solutions to better serve our valued customers.

A history of success in the fixture, automation, tooling & machining industries.

1984: Founded

Company was founded by 4 individuals who specialized in broach making, and broach sharpening.

2006: Move to Components

Company changed hands and the owner transitioned from broach making to detail components.

2011: Current Ownership

Company changed hands again to the current ownership.

2012: First 4-Axis CNC Mill

Purchased first 4-axis CNC mill, CNC lathe and first seat of CAM software, in order to reduce timing, improve quality and increase productivity.

2013: New Location

Moved location and increased floor space by 3X. Bought first brand new CNC mill in order to increase machining capacity, and further improve timing. Started producing components for customers outside of Canada.

2014: Increased Capacity

Purchased more CNC mills to further increase capacity and meet the increased customer demand. Purchased more CAD/CAM software in order to provide better service and quicker turnaround. Started to transition from just detail components, to taking on full fixture builds and small cell assemblies.

2014: Purchased Large Bridge Mill

Purchased our first large bridge mill in order to provide complete machining packages for customers. Purchased CRM software.

2016: In-House Fabrication

Further increased machining capacity and started to do full fabrication in-house. Diversified machining capacity from one off parts to production runs.

2017: Purchased 5-Axis CNC Machine

Purchased our first brand new 5 axis CNC machine.

2021: Purchased Second 5-Axis CNC Machine

Purchased our second 5 axis CNC mill.

2022: Updated CNC Lathe

Replaced our old CNC lathe with a brand new lathe with sub spindle, live tooling and bar feeder.

2023: Upgraded CMM

Upgraded our CMM to ensure we deliver quality every time.
